Patrick Redhouse and Oliver Bellew come from two very different Irish stories — one of land and sport, one of endurance and return — and built one brand on the same instinct: that how you carry yourself matters more when no one's forcing you to.

Since the 1670s, the Bellew family has held Barmeath, County Louth — Catholic gentry who kept their faith and their land through a century of restriction under the Penal Laws, then returned to public life the moment the law allowed it: two Louth seats in the House of Commons, Lord Lieutenant of the county, and in 1848, a peerage — Baron Bellew of Barmeath. Oliver is the grandson of the current Baron.

The Redhouse family came to Ireland from England generations ago, first managing a Sligo estate before any of the land was theirs. Patrick's grandfather carried that same outdoor instinct forward, representing Ireland in international clay pigeon shooting.

Every tie is made in Como, Italy, in direct partnership with the mill's owners — sustainably sourced Italian silk, not an anonymous supply chain. We know our production partners personally, and every piece is hand-finished by artisans who take real pride in it — not rushed, not machine-stitched.

We produce in small, limited batches rather than mass volumes — a genuine production decision, not a marketing tactic, which means less unsold stock and less waste. Silk is a natural material that, properly cared for, lasts decades rather than seasons. We're moving toward fully recyclable, plastic-minimal packaging as we grow.

We're a small company — two founders, directly accountable for every decision. No intermediaries between us and the mill, no anonymous customer service queue: if something's wrong, you're speaking to Patrick or Oliver directly. We pay fairly for the work behind every tie, and every piece is inspected by hand before it ships.
