The New Collection for Summer 26

The New Collection for Summer 26

Eleven ties, one idea: that a tie is worth keeping longer than a season.

Every piece in this collection is cut in the classic three-fold — a single length of Italian silk, folded three times rather than lined and glued, which is why it drapes the way it does and outlasts most things that call themselves the same product. Woven and finished in Como. Hand-rolled edges. Hand-sewn keeper loops. Nothing here is rushed, and nothing here is trying too hard.

We built this collection the way we build most things at Redhouse & Bellew — slowly, and around a few ideas we kept coming back to.

Colour with conviction

Some of this collection asks nothing of you — the Champagne Silk Tie, all fine woven texture and no motif at all, is the quietest thing we've made. Others aren't shy about it. The Red Silk Tie and its close cousin the Magenta Silk Tie both carry a repeating bit-and-buckle motif, borrowed more from the stable than the boardroom, in colours that don't apologise for themselves. The Burnt Orange and Rust ties sit somewhere between the two — warm, patterned, but built for a man who wants to be noticed for his choices rather than his volume.

Pattern as discipline

Look closely at any of these and you'll find the same instinct at work: small, repeating, precisely placed. The Gold Silk Tie's banded link motif, the Yellow Silk Tie's woven windowpane check, the Forest Green's diamond florets — none of it is loud, all of it rewards a second look. That's deliberate. A print that needs to shout usually doesn't have much to say.

The Navy Silk Tie in our signature motif and the softer Pink Silk Tie, with its alternating florets, round out the more classic end of the range — the ties you reach for when you want the choice to be invisible and the quality to do the talking.

And the one that doesn't take itself seriously

Not everything needs a lesson behind it. The second Navy Silk Tie — scattered with small pink bulldogs, each turned out in its own striped jumper — exists purely because we liked it. Wear it when the room could use a little less seriousness.

Built to outlast the moment

We say this often enough that it's practically a house motto: held, not just worn. Every tie here is made to be reached for in ten years, not just this one. That's not a marketing line — it's the only reason the three-fold construction, the hand-finishing, and the direct relationships with our Como workshop exist in the first place. Shortcuts are cheaper. We've chosen not to take them.

Patrick handles the sourcing and the standards. I tend to worry more about the story we're telling with each print. Between the two of us, this collection is the closest we've come yet to saying, in eleven ties, what Redhouse & Bellew is actually for.
